I saw the full moon tonight and had to take a picture. However, it was trickier than I first thought to capture all of the detail on the surface.
Several first attempts came out like the one below - just a bright blob!
So I read up on how to get the best pictures...
I set my shutter speed to 1/350 (which took me a while to figure out it was the little wheel on the back!) and ISO 400. I used my zoom lens at 300mm and this was the result:
I think you will agree that the difference is clear!
